Ann Githinji Ng’ang’a is a tax lawyer and tax consultant. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree and Master of Laws in International Trade Law from the University of Nairobi. She is also an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Ann has extensive advisory, research and dispute resolution experience in legal commercial practice and tax law.

She has a research interest in tax avoidance in developing countries. She worked with the Kenya Revenue Authority for 9 years as a tax lawyer and a certified revenue and customs officer. She is an IBFD author and a peer reviewer of the African Tax and Customs Review (ATCR) Journal.
She is certified in and conducts legal compliance audits at the Kenya School of Law. She also teaches tax law at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration. Ann is a 3rd Award Winner at the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) 2nd Africa-wide Taxation Essay Competition (ATEC) 2019.
